Ken Kaufman – Ken founded Kaufman Hall in 1976 to provide expert counsel and advisory services to healthcare organizations of all types and sizes – including community, academic and national health systems. Having authored or coauthored 6 books and often quoted in major healthcare publications, Ken is a recognized authority and committed educator in the healthcare industry and has given over 400 presentations at major healthcare conferences.

Scott MacLean – As Deputy CIO and Director of IS Operations for Partners Healthcare in Boston, Scott has a long career of healthcare technology implementation at leading healthcare facilities. Seen as an authority regarding the use of technology to support healthcare initiatives, Scott is a regular speaker at HIMSS conference and the Harvard School of Public Health, is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company and was recognized in 2010 as one of the Top 10 Rising Stars by Healthcare IT News.

Joel Krikston – Joel recently joined Merck Ventures following a successful consulting role for a number of healthcare technology and diagnostics companies. Previously, Joel was a Principal of Venture Investments at Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation (JJDC), leading the group’s efforts in healthcare technology and diagnostics as well as engaging in transactions in biotech and medtech. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson in 2006, Joel spent 8 years serving a wide range of healthcare clients as an investment banker with BNP Paribas, JPMorgan and ABN Amro.

Daryl Todd – Daryl currently works as Senior Counsel to the Johnson & Johnson companies and specializes in public and private payer reimbursement and innovative payment models. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Daryl supported public policy strategy at Bristol-Myers Squibb and focused on business formation and reimbursement issues within the healthcare sector for the law firm of McCarter & English.
