VOX Telehealth Hires Industry Veteran as New Director of Ortho Solutions

Oct 13, 2015

October 13, 2015, Princeton, NJ – VOX Telehealth, a leader in the development of procedure-specific, orthopedic patient engagement programs, today announced the addition of Phil Feldstein as Director of Ortho Solutions. In this role, Feldstein will be responsible for the deployment strategy of VOX’s OrthoCare Program, which is designed to optimize the episode of care for patients undergoing major knee or hip replacement surgery.

The OrthoCare Program empowers the patient and caregivers to be an active partner in their episode of care resulting in greatly improved outcomes. In a recent study of the OrthoCare Program implemented at the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, results showed the program has substantially improved outcomes for participating patients with increased direct-to-home discharges, reduced length of stay, and improved overall patient experience.

“As a seasoned healthcare professional with vast experience in the orthopedic industry, Phil is a strong addition to the team,” said Will Passano, Senior VP of Strategic Development for VOX. “The VOX patient engagement platform has gained tremendous traction within the orthopedic community and amongst significant industry leaders. Phil’s experience and strategic understanding will be of great benefit to our customers and ongoing market strategy.”

Feldstein brings more than 12 years of experience in orthopedic service line management to his role at VOX. Throughout his career, he has worked with more than 100 hospitals, physician groups and other outpatient ancillary service providers to develop strategies for optimizing care. Previously, Feldstein was a senior marketing strategy and business development manager at Biomet-Orthopaedic Advantage, a global leader in musculoskeletal care. He also served as a senior director at Accelero Health Partners, a division of Zimmer Orthopedics. Feldstein holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

“As the industry faces the challenge of succeeding under new payment models, now more than ever, patient engagement and compliance are critical,” said Feldstein. “I am thrilled to join the VOX team in their mission to redefine the patient experience and recovery model with a solution that truly empowers patients to become accountable in their care.”
